Ultrasonic Testing (UT) is an NDT method utilizing sound waves to detect sub-surface flaws and thicknesses of materials.  With our highly trained Inspectors we have the capabilities to perform Full Volume weld inspection, Corrosion Survey's, Baseline Survey's and Lamination Scans.  With our equipment and software we are able to provide a UT data log to our customers for permanent record keeping.
Our technicians are also trained in the method of Phased Array which is the next generation of Ultrasonic testing.  According to the ASME pressure vessel code case 2235-9, Phased Array UT can be used in lieu of RT (Radiography).  Sonar Inspection is currently working towards bringing our customers Phased Array testing.             Some of the equipment we use are:      - 37DLP Thickness Guage / Data Logger      - USN 58L Conventional Shear Wave
